  Horst has extensive and relevant investment experience. On the buy side, he has been Portfolio Manager at Dundee Corporation and Research Analyst in a joint venture with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board. On the sell side, he has been Research Analyst at Burns Fry Limited, Gordon Capital Corporation, TD Securities Inc. and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated. He has been managing his own capital for 30 years.

• Industry Designation:

  Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1992.

• Committee and Governance Experience:

  Horst is currently a member of the Investment Committee at AGinvest Farmland One Inc. and the Advisory Committee of YieldBridge Fund Management SaRL. He is also a Non-Executive Director of TerraFarma Inc. and Muskoka Condominium Corporation No. 41. What’s more, he has prior Board experience. He is past Chairman of the Board of AgriMarine Holdings Inc. and Urban Barns Foods Inc., as well as past Independent Director of Xylitol Canada Inc., Liberty Resources Limited and Blue Goose Capital Corp. (a Dundee Corporation company).

• Education:

  Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University (Dean’s List, 1987) and Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo (1982).
